Glory Revealed

Glory Revealed is a collaborative musical project and series of albums within the contemporary Christian music genre. Conceived by Mac Powell, the lead vocalist of the band Third Day, and author David Nasser, the project focuses on the adaptation of biblical scripture into song lyrics.

The first installment, Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship, was released in 2007 through Reunion Records. The album's musical direction is characterized by acoustic, folk, and Americana-influenced arrangements. It features a diverse group of guest vocalists and musicians, including Brian Littrell, Shane & Shane, Laura Story, and Candi Pearson-Shelton.

The project received significant industry recognition at the 39th GMA Dove Awards in 2008. It won the award for Special Event Album of the Year, and the track "By His Wounds"—a collaboration between Mac Powell, Steven Curtis Chapman, Brian Littrell, and Mark Hall—was named Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.

A sequel, Glory Revealed II, was released in 2009, continuing the format of scriptural lyrics and multi-artist participation. In addition to the musical releases, the initiative included a companion book authored by David Nasser, which provides devotional reflections on the specific biblical passages used in the songs. The series is intended to serve as a resource for both individual devotion and corporate worship.
