Glocalnet

Glocalnet initially offered dial-up internet access, subsequently expanding its services to include ADSL broadband, IP telephony (VoIP), and mobile telephony. The company was known for its competitive pricing strategies and aimed to challenge established telecommunications giants in Sweden.

In 2006, Glocalnet was acquired by Telenor Sverige, the Swedish subsidiary of the Norwegian telecommunications group Telenor Group. Following the acquisition, Glocalnet continued to operate as a distinct brand under Telenor for several years, primarily serving the consumer market with its internet and telephony services. Over time, the Glocalnet brand and its operational activities were gradually integrated into Telenor's broader portfolio of services.
