Givairo Read

Givairo Read (born 22 June 2006) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger for Eredivisie club Feyenoord.

Early Life and Youth Career Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Read began his youth career at local amateur club AFC before moving to the academy of FC Volendam. His talent was soon recognized, leading him to join the renowned Feyenoord Academy, one of the top youth development systems in the Netherlands. He progressed through the various age groups at Feyenoord, establishing himself as a promising attacking player.

Club Career Read continued his development at Feyenoord, regularly featuring for their youth teams, including the Under-17 and Under-18 squads. His performances at youth level, characterized by his speed, dribbling ability, and eye for goal, earned him a professional contract with the club.

He made his senior team debut for Feyenoord on 10 August 2024, coming on as a substitute in a 1–0 Eredivisie victory against Willem II. His debut marked a significant milestone in his career, signaling his transition from a youth prospect to a professional player within the first team setup of the Rotterdam-based club.
