Gingerclown (also known as Gingerclown 3D) is a 2013 English-language Hungarian horror comedy film written and directed by Balázs Hatvani. The film stars Erin Hayes and Ashley Lloyd as high school students who enter an old amusement park inhabited by monsters. The voice cast includes notable actors Tim Curry, Lance Henriksen, Michael Winslow, Brad Dourif, and Sean Young.
The plot is set in 1983 near Hollywood Hills, where a group of high school students encounter Sam, a social outcast who will do anything to get the attention of Jenny, one of the prettiest girls in school. To impress the football team and Jenny, Sam dares to enter an old abandoned amusement park. When Jenny follows him inside, they discover that the park is populated by torturous monsters.
The film is an homage to 1980s horror films and has been described by critics as an "80s homage gone horribly awry." It was released in 3D format.
