Gina DiMartino (born June 16, 1987) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward and midfielder. She represented the United States at various youth international levels and had a professional career in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) and Women's Premier Soccer League Elite (WPSL Elite).
Early Life and Youth Career DiMartino grew up in Massapequa, New York, and attended Massapequa High School, where she was a highly decorated multi-sport athlete in soccer and basketball. She was a prominent player in youth soccer, earning national recognition and being a member of various U.S. youth national teams.
College Career DiMartino played college soccer for the Boston College Eagles from 2005 to 2008. She was a standout player throughout her collegiate career, earning numerous accolades, including All-ACC honors. She finished her career with 33 goals and 18 assists in 79 appearances for the Eagles.
Professional Career DiMartino was drafted by the Philadelphia Independence in the 2010 WPS Draft. She played two seasons with the Independence in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS), contributing to the team's success. After the WPS league suspended operations, she joined the New York Fury for the inaugural season of Women's Premier Soccer League Elite (WPSL Elite) in 2012, where she played alongside her sisters, Tina and Vicky DiMartino.
International Career DiMartino represented the United States at several youth international levels, including the U-17, U-19, U-20, and U-23 national teams. She participated in various tournaments and camps, showcasing her talent on the international stage.
Personal Life Gina is the elder sister of Tina DiMartino and Vicky DiMartino, both of whom are also accomplished soccer players who played professionally and represented the United States at youth international levels. The three sisters played together professionally for the New York Fury.
