Gereon Bollmann

Gereon Bollmann (born 1958) is a German politician and retired judge currently serving as a Member of the German Bundestag. He is a member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

Born in Lüdenscheid, Bollmann studied law at the University of Kiel. Following his legal training, he entered the judiciary and served for many years as a judge. Before entering federal politics, he held the position of presiding judge at the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) in Schleswig, where he specialized in family law.

Bollmann joined the AfD in 2013, shortly after the party’s inception. He was elected to the 20th German Bundestag in the 2021 federal election via the AfD state list for Schleswig-Holstein. In his parliamentary capacity, he serves as a member of the Committee on Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, and as a substitute member of the Committee on Legal Affairs. His political focus often pertains to family policy and the judicial system.
