Gerald Everett (born July 24, 1996) is an American professional football player who plays the tight end position in the National Football League (NFL). As of the 2023 season, he is a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Everett played college football at the University of Virginia, where he was recognized as an All-ACC selection.
Early life and education
Gerald Everett was born in Richmond, Virginia. He attended Hermitage High School in Henrico County, where he played high school football and participated in track and field. During his senior year, he was rated as a three‑star recruit and received scholarship offers from several Division I programs.
College career
Everett enrolled at the University of Virginia in 2015 and joined the Virginia Cavaliers football team. Over four seasons (2015–2018), he appeared in 47 games, recording 69 receptions for 904 yards and eight touchdowns. He earned second‑team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors in his senior year (2018).
Professional career

Seattle Seahawks (2019–2021): Everett was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round (115th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed a four‑year rookie contract on May 28, 2019. In his rookie season, he played in 12 games, starting three, and posted 30 receptions for 322 yards and three touchdowns. He continued with the Seahawks for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, contributing as a rotational tight end and special‑teams player.

Los Angeles Rams (2022–present): Everett signed with the Los Angeles Rams in March 2022 on a one‑year contract. He appeared in all 17 games of the 2022 season, recording 18 receptions for 166 yards. He re‑signed with the Rams on a two‑year extension in March 2023.
Personal life
Everett’s brother, Erik Everett, also played college football as a defensive back at the University of Virginia. Gerald Everett is active in community service initiatives, including youth football camps in the Virginia area.
