Geraint Wyn Davies

Geraint Wyn Davies (born 13 March 1957) is a Welsh‑Canadian actor who has worked in theatre, film, and television in both the United Kingdom and Canada. He is best known for his leading role as vampire detective Nick Knight in the syndicated series Forever Knight (1995–1996) and for recurring appearances in series such as Stargate SG‑1, Star Trek: Enterprise, and The West Wing.

Early life and education
Davies was born in Swansea, Wales. He emigrated with his family to Canada during his childhood and was raised in Toronto, Ontario. He trained as an actor at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, graduating in the late 1970s.

Career

Theatre
After completing his training, Davies performed extensively with Canadian stage companies, including the Shaw Festival, the Stratford Festival, and the Royal Alexandra Theatre. His stage work has encompassed classical and contemporary repertoire, ranging from Shakespearean tragedy to modern drama.

Television
Davies’ breakout television role came in 1995 when he was cast as the titular character in Forever Knight, a series that blended supernatural themes with police procedural elements. The show ran for two seasons and earned him a Gemini Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.
