George Nash (rower)

George Nash is a British rower who was born on 8 November 1989. He represented Great Britain in international rowing competitions, primarily competing in sweep-oar events. Nash was a member of the men’s coxless four that won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He also competed at the World Rowing Championships, earning a gold medal in the men’s four at the 2013 event and a silver medal in the men’s eight in 2014.

Nash rowed at the University of Cambridge, where he participated in the Boat Race. He made his first appearance in the race in 2012 as part of the winning Cambridge crew and rowed in subsequent editions.

He is known for his role in the British rowing team during the 2010s and retired from competitive rowing in the late 2010s. After retiring, he pursued a career outside of sports.
