George Browning (cricketer)

George Browning (born 1877, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Hampshire between 1899 and 1903. A right-handed batsman, Browning appeared in 27 first-class matches, scoring 467 runs at an average of 11.67. His highest score was 48. He was also a right-arm slow bowler, taking 1 wicket at a cost of 75 runs. Browning's career was relatively short, with his appearances becoming infrequent after the 1901 season.
