[[Gavin Crawford]] (born 20 February 1974) is a Scottish former [[association football|footballer]] who played as a [[centre-back]].
Career
Gavin Crawford began his professional career with his hometown club [[Dunfermline Athletic F.C.|Dunfermline Athletic]], where he had progressed through their youth system. He made his senior debut for the Pars in 1991 and established himself as a regular in the team's defence. During his seven years at East End Park, Crawford made 111 league appearances, scoring 1 goal.In 1998, Crawford moved to fellow Scottish club [[Raith Rovers F.C.|Raith Rovers]]. He became a prominent figure in the Rovers' defence, making 191 league appearances and scoring 5 goals over seven seasons with the Kirkcaldy-based side.
Following his departure from Raith Rovers in 2005, Crawford signed for [[Cowdenbeath F.C.|Cowdenbeath]], where he played for two seasons, adding 58 league appearances to his career total. His final professional club was [[East Fife F.C.|East Fife]], where he spent the 2007–2008 season, making 30 league appearances before retiring from professional football.
Throughout his career, Crawford was known for his solid defensive play and leadership on the field.
