G. E. Ranne is a pseudonym used by a pair of French authors, Anne Guèro (born November 24, 1966, in Tours) and Gérard Guèro (born February 14, 1964, in Clamart), who write together as a collaborative duo. They are also known under the pseudonym Ange (meaning "Angel" in French).
The pseudonym "G. E. Ranne" is a portmanteau derived from the authors' first names: Gérard and Anne, combined with "Ranne" (from Guèro + Anne). They are sometimes credited as "G.-Elton Ranne."
The duo primarily writes science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as texts for role-playing games. Notable contributions include writing for the role-playing game In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas. They also contributed to the World of Darkness: France supplement for White Wolf's tabletop role-playing line.
In 1998, G. E. Ranne gained notice with the short story "Il était trois petits enfants", published in Fantasy: 18 grands récits de merveilleux.
