Fuchū Station (府中駅, Fuchū-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Fuchū, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Keio Corporation. It is designated station number KO24.
Lines
Fuchū Station is served by the Keio Line, which runs 37.9 km from Shinjuku Station to Keiō-hachiōji Station. The station is located 21.9 km from the Tokyo terminus at Shinjuku.
Station Layout
The station is a three-story elevated structure with two island platforms serving four tracks. Platforms 1 and 2 serve the outbound direction (toward Keiō-hachiōji and Takaosanguchi), while platforms 3 and 4 serve the inbound direction (toward Shinjuku). Tracks 2 and 3 are the main through lines, while tracks 1 and 4 are passing loops used for express/local train connections.

The station is served by multiple train types: Keiō Liner, Mt. Takao, Special Express, Semi Special Express, Express, Semi Express, Rapid, and Local (all-stations) services. Many express and local train connections are conducted at this station throughout the day.
History
The station opened on 31 October 1916. The elevated station building was completed and opened on 1 March 1993. The station was selected as one of the "100 Stations of Kantō" in 1998.

Surrounding Area
The station is located in central Fuchū, near the Fuchū City Office, National Route 20 (Kōshū Highway), and the Ōkunitama Shrine. The area around the station is a major commercial and entertainment district in the western Tokyo region. The station is also within walking distance of Fuchū-Hommachi Station on the JR East Nambu and Musashino lines.
Bus Services
Multiple bus routes operate from the station, including local services operated by Keio Bus to destinations such as Musashi-Koganei Station, Kokubunji Station, Kunitachi Station, and various points within Fuchū. Long-distance highway buses also serve the station, including services to Narita and Haneda airports, as well as overnight services to Nagoya.
