Franz Wolf (canoeist)

Franz Wolf (born 5 July 1938 in Linz, Upper Austria) is an Austrian sprint canoeist who competed in the early 1960s. He represented the club EKRV Donau Linz and stood 178 cm tall with a weight of 72 kg during his competitive career.

Wolf competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, where he partnered with Helmut Holzschuster in the men's K-2 1000 metres event. The pair reached the semifinals but failed to advance to the final, finishing in 5th place in their semifinal heat (round 3 of 4). This was his only Olympic appearance.
