François Amédée Doppet (1749 – 1799) was a French military officer and politician active during the French Revolutionary period. He began his career in the French Royal Army and later rose to the rank of general in the Revolutionary forces, participating in campaigns of the early 1790s. In 1791, Doppet was elected as a deputy to the Legislative Assembly, where he was associated with the moderate political faction that sought constitutional reforms. His parliamentary work focused on military organization and the rights of soldiers. Doppet's contributions are noted in contemporary accounts of the Revolutionary Wars and the early legislative bodies of the French Republic.
