Fortuna station (SEPTA)

Fortuna station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station located in the Fortuna neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It serves the Fox Chase Line.

The station is situated at Rhawn Street and Lawndale Avenue. It provides local residents with access to Center City Philadelphia and other destinations along the Fox Chase Line. Service is typically less frequent than on other SEPTA Regional Rail lines, with more limited service on weekends.

Fortuna station consists of a single low-level platform. Passengers board and alight trains directly from the platform. The station is unstaffed and features minimal amenities. There is parking available for commuters.

The Fox Chase Line, and therefore Fortuna station, was originally part of the Reading Railroad's rail network. SEPTA acquired the line and continues to operate service on it. The line has faced service disruptions and potential closures in its history, but remains an active part of the SEPTA Regional Rail system.
