Fiorenzo Aliverti

Fiorenzo Aliverti (born 16 April 1948 in Monza, Italy) is a former Italian professional road bicycle racer. He competed professionally from 1969 to 1976.

Career Aliverti began his professional cycling career in 1969 with the Sagit team. Over his eight years as a professional, he rode for several prominent Italian cycling teams, including Filotex (1970–1971), Salvarani (1972), Sammontana (1973), and Magniflex (1974–1976).

He was known as a consistent rider, frequently participating in Grand Tours and other major European races. Aliverti competed in eight editions of the [[Giro d'Italia]], finishing six of them. His best overall classification result in the Giro was 37th place in 1970.

While not primarily a stage winner, Aliverti achieved several notable stage finishes throughout his career:

  • In 1970, he placed 5th on stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia.
  • In 1971, he achieved his highest professional finish, taking 2nd place on stage 4 of the [[Tour de Suisse]].
  • In 1972, he finished 4th on stage 13 of the Giro d'Italia.

Aliveri often played the role of a domestique, supporting team leaders in various races. He retired from professional cycling at the end of the 1976 season.
