Fillmore Township is a civil township located in the eastern part of Fillmore County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is one of the county’s twenty‑nine townships and lies within the Driftless Area of southeastern Minnesota.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of approximately 35.9 square miles (93.0 km²), all of which is land. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills, agricultural fields, and a network of small streams that drain into the Root River watershed.

History
Fillmore Township was organized in the mid‑19th century, around 1858, shortly after the establishment of Fillmore County. The township, like the county, was named in honor of President Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the United States.
