Fengkai County (Chinese: 封开县; pinyin: Fēngkāi Xiàn) is an administrative county-level division of the People’s Republic of China, situated in the western part of Guangdong Province. It is governed by the prefecture‑level city of Zhaoqing.

Fengkai County occupies a largely hilly and forested area bordering the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to the west. In the early 20th century, local reforms merged the two former districts, and the new county was named “Fengkai” to reflect this amalgamation. The character “封” historically denotes “to confer” or “to seal,” while “开” means “to open” or “to develop,” suggesting an intention of establishing and opening the region for governance and development.
