Felix Banaszak (born October 24, 1989) is a German politician representing the Alliance 90/The Greens (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) party. He currently serves as a member of the German Bundestag and as one of the two federal chairpersons of his party.
Born in Duisburg, Banaszak studied social sciences and cultural studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin. His political career began within the party's youth wing, the Green Youth (Grüne Jugend), where he served as a federal spokesperson from 2013 to 2014. From 2018 to 2022, he held the position of co-chair for the North Rhine-Westphalia state chapter of Alliance 90/The Greens, the party's largest state association.
Banaszak was elected to the German Bundestag in the 2021 federal election, representing the Duisburg II constituency. During his tenure in parliament, he has focused on economic policy and climate protection, serving as a member of the Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on the Budget. In November 2024, at a federal party congress in Wiesbaden, he was elected as federal co-chair of Alliance 90/The Greens alongside Franziska Brantner.
