Felipe Gustavo (born February 22, 1991) is a Brazilian professional skateboarder known for his technical street skating style. Born in Brasília, Brazil, Gustavo gained international prominence in the skateboarding community following his victory at the Tampa Am competition in 2007.
Gustavo's career began when his father sold the family car to fund a trip to Florida so Felipe could compete in the Tampa Am. His win at the event led to professional sponsorships and his eventual move to the United States. He is recognized for his precision in performing technical flip tricks and ledge combinations, often executed in a "switch" stance (the opposite of his natural riding position).
Throughout his career, Gustavo has been a consistent competitor in major skateboarding leagues and events, including Street League Skateboarding (SLS) and the X Games. He has been featured in several influential skateboarding videos produced by his sponsors, which have included brands such as Plan B Skateboards, Nike SB, and Red Bull.
In 2021, Gustavo represented Brazil in the men's street skateboarding event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the first time the sport was included in the Olympic program. He continues to compete globally and remains a prominent figure in the professional skateboarding industry.
