Factory 81

Factory 81 was an American nu metal band formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1997. The group's lineup consisted of vocalist Nate Wallace, guitarist Bill Schultz, bassist Kevin Lewis, and drummer Andy Cyrulnik.

The band gained local attention in the Detroit metal scene, leading to a recording contract with Beyond Records, a label founded by Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil. In 2000, Factory 81 released their sole studio album, Mankind, produced by David Draiman of Disturbed. The album featured the single "Numb," which received some regional radio play and was included on the ECW: Extreme Music compilation album.

Factory 81 toured nationally in support of Mankind, sharing stages with acts such as Slipknot, Disturbed, and Hed PE. The band disbanded in 2001 due to internal conflicts and label issues. Following the dissolution, vocalist Nate Wallace joined the band 40 Below Summer for a brief period.
