Fabian Jackson

Fabian Jackson (born February 15, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. A versatile guard-forward, Jackson is known for his extensive professional career spanning various leagues across the globe, following a successful collegiate tenure at Oregon State University.

Early Life and College Career

Born in Long Beach, California, Fabian Jackson attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where he excelled in basketball. After graduating, he committed to Oregon State University, playing for the Beavers from 2007 to 2011. During his senior season (2010–2011), he averaged 8.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, showcasing his all-around skills and contributing significantly to the team.

Professional Career

After going undrafted in the 2011 NBA draft, Jackson began his professional career. He was drafted by the Idaho Stampede in the NBA G League (then D-League) draft. His career has been characterized by its international scope, playing in numerous countries and leagues:

  • NBA G League: Jackson played for several teams in the NBA G League, including the Idaho Stampede and the Sioux Falls Skyforce, gaining experience in the North American professional circuit.
  • Europe: His European stints include playing in Germany (Walter Tigers Tübingen), Greece (AGOR Rethymno), the Netherlands (ZZ Leiden), France (Denain Voltaire), and Finland (Salon Vilpas).
  • Asia: He also competed in Japan for teams such as the Ryukyu Golden Kings and Bambitious Nara.
  • South America: Jackson has played in Argentina for Quimsa and in Venezuela for Panteras de Miranda.
