Fabián Andrés Vargas Rivera (born April 17, 1977) is a Colombian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Renowned for his combative style, leadership, and ability to recover possession, Vargas enjoyed a decorated career across South America and Europe, most notably with América de Cali, Boca Juniors, and Internacional. He also represented the Colombia national team.
