Félix Léonnec (born 16 February 2004) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defender, primarily as a left-back, for FC Lorient.
Early Life and Youth Career
Born in Lorient, France, Léonnec began his football journey at a young age, joining the youth academy of FC Lorient, his hometown club. He progressed through the various age groups, demonstrating his potential and developing his defensive skills.
Club Career
FC Lorient
Léonnec signed his first professional contract with FC Lorient in June 2023, committing his future to the club until 2027. Prior to this, he had been a prominent player for the club's reserve team (FC Lorient B) in the Championnat National 2 (fourth tier of French football), where he gained experience in senior competition.
He made his senior team debut for FC Lorient on 7 January 2024, coming on as a substitute in a Coupe de France match against FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. While his appearances for the first team have been limited as he continues to develop, he is considered a promising prospect within the club's setup, often featuring in matchday squads and continuing to play with the reserve team to maintain match fitness and gain further experience.
