Evan Evans (Pennsylvania politician)

Evan Evans (1765 – 1811) was an American politician who served as a United States Representative for Pennsylvania's 3rd congressional district from 1805 to 1807.

Born in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Evans received a limited education. He engaged in agricultural pursuits.

Evans was elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Ninth Congress, serving from March 4, 1805, to March 3, 1807. He was not a candidate for re-election in 1806.

Following his term in Congress, Evans resumed agricultural pursuits. He died in Uwchlan Township, Chester County, in 1811 and is interred at the Eagle Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
