Endeavour Press

The company's operational model emphasized the revival of out-of-print books, making them accessible to modern readers through various digital platforms. Endeavour Press became particularly known for its extensive and diverse catalogue, especially within the historical fiction genre, often featuring niche subgenres and authors whose works had fallen out of traditional print circulation.

In 2015, Endeavour Press was acquired by Atlantic Books, an independent UK publisher. It continued to operate as an imprint under Atlantic Books, benefiting from integration into a larger publishing infrastructure and expanding its distribution capabilities.

Following subsequent corporate realignments within the publishing industry, including Atlantic Books' acquisition by Grove Atlantic, the Endeavour Press imprint eventually transitioned. Its titles are now largely managed and distributed under the umbrella of Head of Zeus, an award-winning independent publisher which itself was acquired by Bloomsbury Publishing in 2020. This reflects Endeavour Press's journey through various phases of the independent and larger publishing landscape, with its catalogue continuing to reach readers through these successor imprints.
