Emil Hallfreðsson

Emil Hallfreðsson (born 30 October 1987) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder. He has competed in the top divisions of several European leagues and has been selected for the Iceland senior national team.

Early life and youth career
Hallfreðsson was born in Reykjavík, Iceland. He began his football development with the youth system of Valur, one of Iceland’s leading clubs.
