Elly Lieber (7 October 1932 – 1 August 2020) was an Austrian luger who competed internationally in the late 1950s. She achieved notable success in women’s singles luge, securing the gold medal at the 1959 FIL World Luge Championships held in Villard‑de‑Lans, France. Earlier, she also won the gold medal in the women’s singles event at the 1956 European Luge Championships in Imst, Austria. Lieber’s career contributed to Austria’s prominence in the sport during that era.
