Elizabeth Scott (politician)

Elizabeth Scott (born c. 1958) is an American politician from the state of Washington. She served as a Republican member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 39th legislative district from 2013 to 2017. The 39th district includes parts of Snohomish and Skagit counties.

Scott was first elected in 2012, defeating incumbent Democratic Representative Janie Neely. During her time in the legislature, she served on various committees, including the Transportation Committee and the Technology & Economic Development Committee. Her legislative priorities included transportation infrastructure, economic development, and government accountability.

She lost her re-election bid in 2016 to Democratic challenger Carolyn Eslick.
