Edvaldo Oliveira (born 18 November 1963) is a Brazilian former professional tennis player.
Biography
Born in Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, Oliveira is a right-handed player who turned professional in the 1980s. He reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 208 on 6 October 1986, and a career-high doubles ranking of No. 192 on 16 September 1985. Over his ATP career, he recorded a 0–5 win–loss record in singles and a 3–17 record in doubles, earning $22,065 in prize money.
Davis Cup
Oliveira represented Brazil in the 1982 Davis Cup, playing a tie against Ecuador in Fortaleza. He played the opening singles rubber and was defeated by Ricardo Ycaza.
Grand Slam Appearances
He competed in the qualifying draw for the 1983 Wimbledon Championships in both singles and doubles.

Post-Retirement
Following his playing career, Oliveira transitioned into coaching. He co-founded the Alves e Oliveira Tennis Team in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, together with former player Thiago Alves, focusing on high-performance training for junior and professional players. He also coached Thiago Alves for 15 years during Alves' rise to a career-high ranking of No. 21 in 2008.
