Edrick Menjívar

Edrick Eduardo Menjívar Velásquez (born 19 May 1993) is a Honduran professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liga Nacional club Olimpia and the Honduras national team.

Early Life and Career

Menjívar was born in El Porvenir, Francisco Morazán, Honduras. He began his football career in the youth academy of Club Deportivo Olimpia, one of the most prominent football clubs in Honduras.

Club Career

Menjívar has spent his entire professional senior career with Olimpia. After progressing through the club's youth ranks, he made his senior team debut and gradually established himself as a key player and often the starting goalkeeper for the club. With Olimpia, he has achieved significant domestic success, winning numerous Liga Nacional titles and contributing to the club's consistent performance and dominance in Honduran football.

International Career

Menjívar made his debut for the Honduras national team in 2021. He has since represented his country in various international fixtures, including CONCACAF Nations League matches, World Cup qualifiers, and friendly matches, serving as a reliable option for the national squad.
