Eben Joubert (born 29 October 1983) is a South African professional rugby union player who primarily played as a lock.
Career: Joubert had a professional career playing for several provincial and Super Rugby teams in South Africa. He began his professional career with the Griquas, a team based in Kimberley, and represented them in competitions such as the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup.
He later moved to Bloemfontein, where he played for the Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup, and subsequently represented the Cheetahs in the Super Rugby competition. Known for his work rate and physicality in the lineout and scrum, Joubert was a consistent presence for his teams during his playing years. He typically featured in the second row, often rotating between the number 4 and 5 lock positions.
