Doug Aldridge Aldrich (born June 29, 1964) is an American hard‑rock and heavy‑metal guitarist. He is noted for his work with several prominent rock acts, including the bands Dio, Whitesnake, and the supergroup Revolution Saints, as well as his solo projects.

Early Life and Education
Aldrich was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and raised in the Raleigh‑Durham area. He began playing guitar at age 12, receiving early instruction from local teachers and developing an interest in classic rock and metal influences such as Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, and Eddie Van Halen. He studied music informally and participated in regional bands during his teenage years.

• Early Bands (1980s–1990s): Aldrich first gained professional exposure with the North Carolina‑based band X‑Mansion and later with Brotherhood. In 1993, he joined the band Maui and recorded the album Maui with that group.
