Dmitri Sergeyevich Buynov (Russian: Дмитрий Сергеевич Буйнов; born 20 August 1989) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.
Career
Buynov was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, and began his football career in the youth system. He primarily played in the Russian National Football League (FNL), the second-highest division in Russian professional football, and also had stints in the Russian Professional Football League (PFL).
Throughout his career, Buynov played for a number of Russian clubs. His professional journey included spells at:
- FC Lokomotiv-2 Moscow: Buynov started his senior career with the second team of FC Lokomotiv Moscow.
- FC Torpedo Moscow: He played for the historic Moscow club, featuring in FNL matches.
- FC Sibir Novosibirsk: Buynov was part of the squad that competed in the FNL.
- FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok: He continued his career in the Far East of Russia, playing in the FNL.
- FC Khimki: Another notable club where he played in the FNL.
- FC Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: He also played for clubs further afield within Russia.
Known for his role as an attacking midfielder or a winger, Buynov contributed with goals and assists throughout his time in the Russian leagues. He did not make any appearances for the senior Russian national team.
