Dimitri Konyshev (Russian: Дмитрий Конышев; born 21 May 1969) is a Russian former professional road cyclist. He competed internationally from the early 1990s until his retirement in 2008 and later worked as a directeur sportif and coach.
Early Life and Amateur Career
Konyshev was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. He began cycling competitively as a teenager and earned recognition in the Soviet amateur circuit, notably achieving success in the 1990 USSR National Road Championships.

Konyshev was known for his sprinting ability and tactical acumen in breakaways. His most prominent individual result was the silver medal in the men's road race at the 1998 UCI Road World Championships in Valkenburg, the Netherlands. He also achieved two individual stage wins in the Giro d’Italia (1994, 2002) and a stage win in the Tour de France (1996).
Post‑Racing Career
After retiring, Konyshev transitioned to team management and coaching. He held positions as a directeur sportif with the Russian‑registered team Team Katusha and later contributed to the development of young Russian cyclists through national programs.
