Diaroumé is an arrondissement (administrative subdivision) located in the department of Bounkiling, in the Sédhiou Region of Senegal. It lies in the Casamance region, in the southern part of the country.
The arrondissement was created by decree no. 2008-747 of 10 July 2008. Its administrative seat (chef-lieu) is the town of Diaroumé.
Diaroumé arrondissement comprises three rural communities (communautés rurales):
- Communauté rurale de Diambati
- Communauté rurale de Faoune
- Communauté rurale de Diaroumé
The arrondissement contains numerous villages and hamlets, including Bagadadji, Bani, Bantanto, Bayamba, Diambati, Diokoul, Faoune, Kandiadiou, Karantaba, Missira, Ndiama, Niandianki, Passy Diambaty, Syllacounda, Taiba Diassor, Touba Diassor, Touba Mouride, and Yera Dioula Ou Sare, among others.
