Devarakonda

Devarakonda (Telugu: దేవరకోండ) is a town and municipality in the Nalgonda district of the Indian state of Telangana. It serves as the headquarters of Devarakonda mandal within Devarakonda revenue division.

Geography
The town is situated at 16°42′00″ N 78°56′00″ E (approximately 16.7000° N, 78.9333° E). It lies about 60 km (37 mi) northeast of the district headquarters, Nalgonda, and roughly 104 km (65 mi) north‑west of the state capital, Hyderabad. The municipal area covers 28.18 km² (10.88 sq mi).

Devarakonda is governed as a municipality and is part of the Devarakonda mandal, which comprises numerous villages and is one of the administrative units of the Nalgonda district.
