Deva Matha College (Autonomous), Kuravilangad is a higher education institution located in Kuravilangad, Kottayam district, Kerala, India. It is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and is re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A++ grade and a CGPA of 3.67.
History
The college was founded on 3 April 1964 under the inspiration of the Catholic Diocese of Palai by the Major Archiepiscopal Marth Mariam Archdeacon Pilgrim Church, Kuravilangad. The parish, Marth Mariam Major Archiepiscopal Church, Kuravilangad, is one of the oldest Christian churches in India and serves as the patron of the institution.

UG programmes are offered under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) framework aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, leading to Honours or Honours with Research degrees.

Campus and Facilities
The campus spans approximately 13 acres and includes a central and digital library, state-of-the-art laboratories, an open gym, sports grounds, hostel facilities, and a canteen. The college also houses a Deva Matha Sports Academy and various student clubs, NCC and NSS units.
Autonomy
The college has been granted autonomous status, allowing it to design its own curriculum, conduct examinations, and manage academic operations independently, while remaining affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University for the award of degrees.
