Dennis Schmitt (footballer)

Dennis Schmitt (born 10 January 1989) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Schmitt began his career in the youth ranks of clubs such as TSV Pansdorf and VfB Lübeck. He made his senior debut for VfB Lübeck in the Regionalliga Nord (fourth tier of German football at the time) during the 2007–2008 season. He established himself as a regular player for Lübeck over several seasons, primarily playing in central midfield.

Throughout his career, Schmitt remained largely in the regional leagues of German football. After his time with VfB Lübeck, he moved to other clubs in the northern German football pyramid, including Eutin 08, where he also played a significant role. He was known for his work rate and defensive contributions in midfield.

Schmitt retired from professional football to pursue other interests.
