Dennis Novak

Dennis Novak (born August 28, 1993) is an Austrian professional tennis player. He has competed primarily on the ATP Tour and the ATP Challenger Tour, achieving a career-high singles ranking of world No. 85 on March 2, 2020.

Born in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, Novak began his professional career on the ITF Futures circuit before progressing to the Challenger and ATP levels. He is a right-handed player with a two-handed backhand. Throughout his career, Novak has been a frequent representative for Austria in international team competitions, including the Davis Cup and the ATP Cup.

In Grand Slam competition, Novak has made several main draw appearances. His most notable performances include reaching the second round at Wimbledon in 2018 and 2022, as well as the second round of the Australian Open in 2021. He has won multiple titles on the ATP Challenger Tour, contributing to his standing within the top 100 of the ATP rankings during the early 2020s.

Novak is also known for his long-standing professional and personal association with fellow Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem, with whom he has frequently trained and competed in doubles events.
