Dell Diamond is a multi-purpose stadium located in Round Rock, Texas, a suburb of Austin. It serves as the home field for the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). The facility opened on April 16, 2000, and was built on 85 acres of former farmland.
The stadium was a collaborative project between the City of Round Rock and Ryan Sanders Sports Services (RS3), an organization founded by National Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan, his son Reid Ryan, and businessman Don Sanders. The City of Round Rock owns the facility, while RS3 maintains and operates it under a long-term lease agreement. The venue’s name is derived from a naming rights agreement with Dell Technologies, which is headquartered in Round Rock.
Design and Features
Designed by the architectural firm HKS, Inc., Dell Diamond was constructed with a focus on spectator experience and modern amenities. The stadium features an open concourse design, allowing fans to view the playing field while visiting concessions or restrooms. Its official seating capacity is approximately 11,631, which includes fixed seats, luxury suites, and a grass berm in the outfield known as "The Rock" for general admission seating.
The facility includes several non-traditional stadium features, such as a swimming pool, a spa, a climbing wall, and a basketball court located beyond the right-field fence. In 2021, the stadium underwent significant renovations to meet new MLB facility standards, which included upgrades to the clubhouse, batting cages, and weight rooms.
Usage
While primarily a baseball venue, Dell Diamond is designed to host a variety of events. It has served as a site for high school and college baseball tournaments, professional soccer matches, rugby matches, and concerts. In 2019, the stadium became the home turf for the Austin Gilgronis of Major League Rugby for a period. It also hosted the "Alternative Site" for the Texas Rangers during the COVID-19 pandemic-shortened 2020 MLB season.

Dell Diamond is considered a central element of Round Rock's sports tourism industry.
