Deh Sahra (Persian: ده صحرا, also romanized as Deh Şaḩrā) is a village in Khanmirza Rural District of the Central District in Khanmirza County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.
Geography
Deh Sahra is located at coordinates 31°30′36″N 51°06′38″E. The village lies in the Central District of Khanmirza County, within the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province of western Iran.
Demographics
Ethnicity
The village is populated by Lurs, an Iranian ethnic group native to the Zagros region.
Population
According to official census data:
- 2006 National Census: 2,438 people in 455 households. At this time, the village was part of the former Khanmirza District of Lordegan County.
- 2011 National Census: 2,461 people in 628 households.
- 2016 National Census: 2,697 people in 643 households.
Administrative History
In 2019, the Khanmirza District was separated from Lordegan County to establish the new Khanmirza County. As part of this reorganization, Khanmirza Rural District was transferred to the new Central District of Khanmirza County.
