DeSean L. Jackson (born December 13, 1986) is an American former professional football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He is noted for his speed, deep‑ball ability, and contributions on special teams as a return specialist.
Early life and education
Jackson was born in Los Angeles, California, and later moved to Maryland. He attended Glenelg High School in Glenelg, Maryland, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. He enrolled at Syracuse University, playing college football for the Syracuse Orange from 2004 to 2007.
