David Keith Nathan (born 17 March 1922 – died 27 April 2001) was a British Labour Party politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Manchester Openshaw from 1966 to 1974.
Born in Manchester, Nathan was educated at Clifton College and University College London, where he studied law. He qualified as a solicitor and practiced in London.
Nathan was first elected to the House of Commons in the 1966 general election, representing the Manchester Openshaw constituency. He held this seat until the February 1974 general election, when he lost to the Conservative candidate, Charles Howard.
Throughout his parliamentary career, Nathan was known for his interest in legal and social reform issues. He was a member of various parliamentary committees and contributed to debates on civil liberties, race relations, and human rights. After leaving Parliament, he continued to be involved in public life, including serving as a board member of the National Westminster Bank.
