David Howell (born July 28, 1984) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-fast bowler.
Howell has primarily played for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club throughout his career. He joined the Gloucestershire academy in 2002 and made his first-class debut in 2004. He is known for his lower-order hitting ability and his accuracy with the ball, often bowling at the death.
While not a regular in the England national team, Howell has represented England Lions. He has also played in various Twenty20 leagues, including the Big Bash League in Australia.
