David Gilbert (born 12 July 1981) is an English professional snooker player. He turned professional in 2002 and has been ranked within the world's top 16.
Gilbert reached the semi-finals of the 2019 World Snooker Championship, his best performance in a Triple Crown event. He defeated Joe Perry, defending champion Mark Williams, and Kyren Wilson before losing to John Higgins 17–16. He has also reached the semi-finals of the 2015 International Championship and the final of the 2021 WST Pro Series, losing to Mark Williams.
Known for his aggressive potting style, Gilbert is yet to win a ranking title. However, he has been a consistent performer on the World Snooker Tour, earning a reputation as a dangerous opponent.
Gilbert resides in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England. He is married and has children. Outside of snooker, he is a keen motorsport enthusiast.
