Danielle Catherine Letourneau (born 3 May 1993) is a Canadian professional squash player. She has represented Canada in international competition and competed on the PSA World Tour.
Early life and education
Letourneau was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she played for the Cornell Big Red women's squash team from 2011 to 2015. During her collegiate career she held the No. 1 position on the team each year and earned First‑Team All‑American and First‑Team All‑Ivy honors annually.
Professional career
Letourneau turned professional in 2015. Coached by Omar Azabawy, David Letourneau, and Julee Devoy, she uses a Gearbox 135 racquet. Her highest world ranking was No. 18, achieved in December 2021; as of December 2022 she was ranked No. 37.
International competition
Letourneau represented Canada at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, winning two silver medals: one in women’s doubles and another as part of the Canadian team event. She has also competed at the World Squash Championships, including the 2014 edition.
Personal life
Letourneau’s father, David Letourneau, is also involved in squash coaching.
