Early life and education
Daniel Mills Pappoe was born on 30 December 1993 in Accra, Ghana. He moved to England at a young age and entered the Chelsea Football Club academy in 2005, where he progressed through the youth ranks until 2013.
Club career
Chelsea (2005–2014) – Pappoe joined Chelsea as an under‑12 schoolboy. While never making a first‑team appearance, he captained the club’s FA Youth Cup‑winning side in 2010 and featured for the reserves during the 2009–10 season. He suffered several injuries that limited his development.
Loan spells – In July 2013, Pappoe was loaned to League One side Colchester United, making two league appearances before being sent off on his debut after just four minutes on the pitch. The loan was terminated in October 2013. A brief one‑month loan to Isthmian Premier League club Kingstonian followed in early 2014.
Brighton & Hove Albion (2014–2015) – He signed for Brighton & Hove Albion but did not feature in senior matches.
Non‑league and lower‑division clubs – From 2015 onward, Pappoe played for a series of English non‑league sides, including Hampton & Richmond Borough, Hemel Hempstead Town (two spells), Berliner AK 07 (Germany), Crawley Town, New Radiant (Maldives), Foresta Suceava (Romania), Dulwich Hamlet, Carshalton Athletic (multiple spells), Worthing, Wingate & Finchley, Chipstead, and Roffey. He accumulated regular playing time primarily in the Isthmian League and Southern Football League.
Redhill (2024–present) – As of 2026, Pappoe is contracted to Redhill F.C., competing in the English non‑league system.
International career
Pappoe represented Ghana at under‑20 level, earning two caps in 2013 during the African Youth Championship qualifying campaign.
