Dan McCormack (hurler)

Dan McCormack is an Irish hurler who plays as a half-back or midfielder for the Borris-Ileigh club and at inter-county level for the Tipperary senior hurling team.

Playing Career:

McCormack has been a significant figure for both his club and county. He made his senior inter-county debut for Tipperary in 2016, quickly establishing himself as a reliable and hard-working player in the half-back line or midfield.

For his club, Borris-Ileigh, McCormack has been a key member of their senior team. He played a pivotal role in their successful 2019 campaign, which saw them win the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship and subsequently the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship. They went on to reach the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship final in 2020, where they were defeated by Ballyhale Shamrocks.

With Tipperary, McCormack has enjoyed considerable success. He was a vital part of the team that won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in both 2016 and 2019.
